The short version

Email info@orchidmedia.io with the subject “Data deletion request” from the address you used with us. We confirm within 5 business days and finish within 30 days.

Email us
Write to info@orchidmedia.io with the subject “Data deletion request”. Send it from the email address you used with us, so we can match it to your records.

Tell us what to delete
Everything, or something specific — for example a form submission, your marketing profile, or data from a connected account. If you’re asking on behalf of someone else, include proof that you’re authorized to.

We confirm
Within 5 business days we confirm we’ve received the request. If we can’t verify that the data is yours, we’ll ask for a little more information.

We delete
Within 30 days we delete the data from our systems and the service providers that hold it for us, and email you to confirm it’s done.

What we delete

Contact, audit and booking form submissions
Your profile and activity history in our email platform
Emails and messages you’ve sent us, unless they relate to an active contract
Any data we copied from accounts you connected for us, such as store or ad reports
Recruitment materials, if you applied to work with us

What we may have to keep

Some records have to be kept by law or to protect both of us. Where that applies, we keep only what’s required, restrict access to it, and delete it when the obligation ends:

Invoices and tax recordsUp to 7 years, as tax law requires

Signed contractsFor as long as a claim could be brought under them

Unsubscribe recordJust your email address, so we never email you again

BackupsOverwritten on their normal cycle, within 30 days

Only want to stop emails?

Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email from us. It takes effect immediately and doesn’t require a deletion request. Service messages about an active project will still reach you.

Remove our access to your accounts

If you’re a client, you can revoke our access at any time from each platform. We also remove it ourselves when an engagement ends.

ShopifySettings → Users and permissions → remove the Orchid Media collaborator or staff account

Meta (Facebook and Instagram)Business Settings → Partners → remove Orchid Media. If you connected through Facebook Login, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites and remove the app

Google Ads and AnalyticsAdmin → Access and security (or Account access management) → remove the Orchid Media users

TikTok AdsBusiness Center → Users → Partners → remove Orchid Media

KlaviyoSettings → Users → remove the Orchid Media users

Revoking access stops new data reaching us. To have the data we already copied deleted as well, send a deletion request as described in section 1.

If you’re a customer of a brand we work with

If you bought from or subscribed to one of our clients’ stores, that brand controls your data — contact them to have it deleted at the source. If you write to us instead, we’ll forward your request to the brand and help them complete it.
